grace and giles

i know that the moment over his dino bags has been and gone. i, too, did fuss fuss fuss fuss fuss over them during the spring 2010 show but it's only been while looking into the whole pink-in-my-hair thing that is consuming my every waking thought that i have reignited my designer crush on Deacon Giles and everything he does, but most specifically his dinosaur bags! prepare for lots of pink and too cute bags!

(this is really for Grace, who has put up with my pink hair/ dino bag fuss for weeks now!)

hair through rose coloured lens

i'm still not over wanting pink in my hair. i have searched long and hard (a few hours really) to find the right sort of pink. the search has culminated in this:

enjoy

the idea of fairy floss/ cotton candy pink hair delights me so much! i should be clear though, all of this is inspiration for me. i am not actually going to dye my hair all over pink. i'm actually thinking of colouring my hair a brunette colour and putting a few streaks of pink in the under layers of my hair.

shop like this

Zara opened in Sydney a few weeks ago to much fan fair. being a global shopper, i got my fill of Zara whilst holidaying in New York. that was until tonight...

Zara just uploaded these shots from their latest collection for Australia onto their facebook page and i am trying very hard to resists the urge to books flights to Sydney and shop! i love everything! yes, it still screams a little too much to Parda, which was the criticism of their fall/winter line abroad, but this little girly is too bankrupt to afford Parda and i will happily settle for Zara.

aaahhh!!! love!

pretty in pink

a little while ago i posted this about maybe making a permanent mark on my body that God didn't put there, and while it is still a tiny thought bubble, i'm now thinking of making a less permanent addition to myself... a touch of pink in my hair... this trend came to me via Paris Fashion Week 2010, so quite some time ago now. i was (am) in total lust about the idea but not sure it's something i could/ would actually do; you see, there is a certain conservative streak that runs through me... that was until yesterday! i was a my doctor's office (persistent head cold that is impacting on my out and about-ness) and was flicking though AUS Vogue March 2010 and cover girl, Abbey Lee, was working the pink look well and good!

behold

(photos taken with morelomo, my iPhone camera and i are not good friends at the moment)
this isn't how i want my hair to look exactly, i would like a more subtle approach to the whole thing, but the more i think about a little bit of pink in my hair the more i think its something i will actually do... maybe
