Zara opened in Sydney a few weeks ago to much fan fair. being a global shopper, i got my fill of Zara whilst holidaying in New York. that was until tonight...

Zara just uploaded these shots from their latest collection for Australia onto their facebook page and i am trying very hard to resists the urge to books flights to Sydney and shop! i love everything! yes, it still screams a little too much to Parda, which was the criticism of their fall/winter line abroad, but this little girly is too bankrupt to afford Parda and i will happily settle for Zara.

breaking it up

breaking up is never fun to do; be it a partner, a fling or a friend. today i am devastated, i am breaking up with New York. we have had a wonderful 3 week love affair, but now its time for me to return to Australia and i'm trying very hard not to cry. the only bright side to this whole situation is that i'm heading to the beach to defrost before returning to the daily perils of work, next week.

you need to watch this! i challenge you not to be inspired by Nary Manivong amazing life story. to think that someone who has suffered so much has come to achieve what he has gives me goosebumps! (and also highlights how utterly lazy i am not to have done very much at all in my privileged life)
